Canapa Montana is an Italian farm, born in 2017 in Piedmont, in a high mountain valley in the province of Cuneo and immediately became part of the leading companies in the hemp sector.

The founder of the company, Franco Picconi, immediately decides to dedicate body and soul to his project, his passion for hemp leads him to select new phenotypes, develop sophisticated plants and refine cutting-edge cultivation techniques, resulting in the best genetics that can now be found on the market.

The Azienda Agricola Montana founded the CANAPA MONTANA brand in 2016 with the entry into force of the law 242/16 which regulates the cultivation of Cannabis Sativa L. on the Italian territory. The founder, Franco, thanks to his experience and passion for agriculture, immediately develops an innovative project of selection and cultivation of the best genetics that leads him to achieve great results, obtaining the first seedless flower already in the first months of 2017. with high organoleptic qualities that beat the competition of the flower imported from Switzerland at that time.

For these reasons the CANAPA MONTANA brand immediately became part of the protagonists of the European scene in the MARKETING of inflorescences.

The project was born in the high mountains, in the family lands in the Maritime Alps on the Italian-French border.
Subsequently, in order to satisfy the growing demand from buyers from all over Europe, the company expands by purchasing an estate of over 100,000 square meters in the area of ​​the Gavi hills and some greenhouse systems on the coasts of Liguria.

A further milestone was reached in 2020 with the installation of a latest generation INDOOR plant in the Novi Ligure headquarters which today allows the company to supply a wide range of flowers grown outdoors, in greenhouses and indoors. under GACP protocol (Good Agricultural and Collecting Practices).
